It’s been three years since I’ve been travelling alone. A lot of people ask whether I felt lonely during these trips. I went to the French Alps and stayed in a cabin alone for a month but felt neither alone nor scared. I’m surrounded by the splendour of nature and I meet beautiful and interesting people.

Battling sub-zero degree temperatures on the ground near Trømso, Norway, the Spanish acrobatic paraglider pilot Horacio Llorens donned a wetsuit and battery-heated gloves, powered up his paramotor, and flatland-launched himself into an amazing night flight with the ethereal green waves of the Aurora Borealis in one of the most breathtaking displays of flight we’ve ever seen.

Time-lapse video resulting from a 15,000 km (almost 10,000 miles) long road trip and tens of thousands of images taken along the way over the last 5 months. The journey has covered all of Norway’s 19 counties, from the far south to the Russian border in the Northeast.
